meta-psychological means of folding space. This group, while consisting mainly of Arabic peoples, they attach themselves to no nation, only
to the advancement of humanity. Using mental augments and sheer mental willpower, they are able to bend space and allow, with relative
safety, travel to other stars with reasonable travel times. Controversy and hatred form around the Marr'aheb as different nations vie for
their favor. Chinese, British, and American spies capture and torture Marr'aheb members in an effort to glean the 'magic' behind their
abilities. Over the next three decades, many secret attempts to recreate the Marr'aheb method result in spectacular failures cause ship to
appear in planet crusts, inside space stations and simply explode.

The Solar Senate finally concedes and commissions the Marr'aheb to
work with the Senate and provide established routes to the stars. The Marr'aheb become some of the richest men [as only men are allowed to
Gate] as massive Gate ships are built by the Senate to provide a safe Gatepoint to and from the nearest stars. For more info on

Alpha Centauri, Barnard's Star, and Wolf 359 have all been visited
and a Gate ship is established at Alpha Centauri and Bernard's Star, the two system's with Earth-type planets.

Human exploration spreads like wildfires and soon BD +36 2147,
Luyten 726-8A & B, Sirius A & B and Ross 154 have all been visited. Alpha Centauri and Bernard's Star each have well established
colonies. Three planets around Prima Centauri are found to contain Eirithium Drioxide, one of the main components used in the Marr'aheb
Method of Folding space and soon an outpost is established there in order to mine the valuable mineral.
